Second-grade students have been learning about money along with addition and subtraction. To culminate their money unit, the grade had a Chick-fil-A money math day. Students used the Chick-fil-A menu to figure out how much money they would need to pay for an order. They also were given a certain amount of money, like $10, and had to figure out how much change they would get back after purchasing certain items. The event was a huge success!

Mrs. Tatum said, "We could not have had such a great learning experience without the help of some of our amazing moms. They helped with math, food pick up, decorated the Lil' Cub Cafe like a real Chick-fil-A restaurant, served food, and cleaned up. Chick-fil-A and Hannah Holbert were simply icing on the cake. They helped us have an amazing, engaging day of learning along with a delicious lunch! Thank you to everyone who helped make this day one to remember!"
