Red Carpet Writers

Red Carpet Writers was so precious! These Little Lions have been working for TWO weeks on their autobiographies. These fine pieces of literature consisted of a table of contents, three chapters, a dedication, and an index page.

The menu included gummy sushi, doughnut holes, book worms (gummy worms), chicken minis, full size candy bars, and sparkling apple juice served in beautiful, sparkling gold flutes.

Congratulations to our Newberry Award Winners, Groves Bennett ('31) and Caroline Allen ('32), as well as our Caldecott Winners, Greyson Bowen ('31) and Briar Brock ('32). Harris Godfrey, ('31) won the Lion Pride Medal given to a student who shows a passion and love for writing. Braelin Rivers ('32) led the opening prayer this morning.

Thank you to all of the amazing moms who made this possible and our amazing hosts, Grant Gumm ('21) and Sophia LaBoy ('22), for taking time out of their day to deliver the most amazing show ever! Writing is FUN!
