Christian Life Retreat Day Four
thursday, september 26, 2019
It is officially Christian Life Retreat week at CHS, and we could not be more excited to experience a change of pace, change of place, and change of perspective with our middle and high school students. Day four of the retreat included the high school students saying "farewell" to camp and welcoming the middle school students to their time at Camp Skyline. The middle school kicked off their time together just as the high school did with our first middle school Olympic games, where students participated in a variety of activities and competitive events by grade level. An intentional time of praise and worship and a message by John-Paul Burdashaw on the importance of following Christ and every small step towards Jesus counting resulted in a powerful time with our community in prayer and reflection. The evening concluded with a hoedown and small group time, and we truly could not have asked for a better first day with our entire middle school student body!
