Christian Life Retreat Day Two

tuesday, september 24, 2019

It is officially Christian Life Retreat week at CHS, and we could not be more excited to experience a change of pace, change of place, and change of perspective with our middle and high school students. Day two of the retreat included the seniors welcoming the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to camp and kicking off their time together with our first high school Olympic games. Students participated in a variety of activities and competitive events by grade level. An intentional time of praise and worship and a message by John-Paul Burdashaw on the importance of following Christ and every small step towards Jesus counting resulted in a powerful time with our community in prayer and reflection. The evening concluded with a hoedown and small group time, and we truly could not have asked for a better first day with our entire high school student body!
