Aftercare Procedures

  • Lower school (grades K-5) dismisses at 3:10 p.m. each day, and car line pick up for those students is 3:10-3:30 p.m.

  • At the end of car line, students attending aftercare and any students that have not been picked up will proceed to the gym or playground for 30 minutes of free play.

  • At 3:45 p.m., aftercare charges will be in effect. This gives parents a 35-minute window to pick up children before incurring any charges.

  • At 4:00 p.m., students remaining in aftercare will be taken to the classroom of the aftercare teacher who is on duty that day. There, they will work on homework from 4:00-4:30 p.m. and play outside or inside for the remainder of the time. Students may bring snacks from home. They will have access to the water fountain, and water bottles may be brought from home.

  • At 4:00 p.m., the front door of the building will be locked for security purposes. Parents picking up their children after this time will need to buzz in using the buzzer at the front of the building. This system provides an additional level of security for our children.

  • Aftercare ends at 5:30 p.m. All students need to be picked up before this time. Late fees will begin at 5:31 p.m. and progress at a rate of $1 per minute.

  • The charge for aftercare is $10 per day, per child. We offer a monthly rate of $120 for one child, or $200 per month for more than one child.
