Missions & Service

From fine arts performances that benefit local charities to building sustainable food sources for underprivileged areas, at CHS, we serve God by serving others. Take a look at a few of the ways our students serve throughout our community and beyond during the school year.

Lower School

Each lower school grade focuses on serving a specific group of people or ministry each school year. Mission projects that students are involved in include praying for different community helpers each month, baking homemade goods and delivering them to teachers throughout our city, collecting and donating items to mission centers, volunteering at local preschools and hosting special events throughout the school year for the students, adopting younger CHS students as reading buddies, and more.

Middle and High School

In addition to actively participating in regular service projects throughout the school year, Great Day of Service is a day set aside each spring for students to serve within the community. Students plan, prepare, and serve as a class. Acts of service range from volunteering at local schools to creating care packages and delivering them to different outreach ministries. Where every student steps foot, not only are they representing CHS, they are being an ambassador of Christ.
