Affording CHS

Tuition is inclusive and covers all non-consumable fees. The cost of enrolling a student at Christian Heritage School includes tuition, uniform purchases, and various costs of consumables. Please note that the student at the highest grade level is deemed the first child.

Tuition may be paid in one of the following ways:

1. ONE payment: Payable on or before July 10, 2023.

2. TWO payments: Payable on or before July 10, 2023, and January 10, 2024.

3. 12 MONTHLY payments: Automatic bank drafts in 12 monthly installments, July 2023 through June 2024.

It is important to know that the admission process and the financial aid process run parallel. You must apply for admission and then financial aid. Your financial aid information is processed as you take the necessary steps for completing admission. The admission decision and financial aid decision will be mailed out together. Then, you will have a couple of weeks to decide whether you would like to enroll. Both online applications will open in October.

All of CHS’s financial aid dollars come through three sources of funding: The Lion Fund, our growing endowment, and the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program.

All financial aid at Christian Heritage School is awarded based on demonstrated financial need – there are no athletic or merit-based financial aid awards at CHS. In order to receive aid, a family must first complete and submit the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment online financial aid application. The application includes uploading several supporting documents, including current W-2 forms and the most recent federal income tax returns. The FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment reports to CHS the amount of tuition that the applying family can afford to pay. We then offer a financial aid award that makes up the difference between what the family can afford and the cost of tuition. Families must apply for aid each year – no financial aid awards exceed one school year.

Available aid goes first to current families in one of two categories: current financial aid families who have applied for and continue to qualify for aid and current families who have not previously required aid, but are experiencing financial hardships and now require aid to remain at CHS. After the demonstrated financial aid needs of those current families have been met, we then offer aid to qualified new families once they have been accepted to CHS through the regular admission process.

Christian Heritage School offers need-based financial aid to children who qualify and who have been accepted as students. Admission and financial aid applications may be filled out simultaneously, however, only those who are accepted will receive financial aid award letters.

Financial aid applications for the 2024-2025 school year open October 1, 2023. 

CHS partners with the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment in the financial aid process.  To begin your financial aid application, please follow the steps below:

1. Visit online.factsmgt.com/grant-aid/inst/3SNQ7/landing-page.
2. Create your online account to begin the financial assistance application. You can log out of the financial assistance application at any time and return later to complete it. 
3. Once your financial assistance application is complete, you will pay a fee of $40. 
4. After you pay and submit your financial assistance application, you will have access to a section to upload required tax documents.
5. Once you have completed the financial assistance application and submitted the required tax documents, FACTS will submit a dollar figure to CHS recommending an amount the parents are able to contribute to their child's education.

The Christian Heritage School Financial Aid Committee makes its recommendation based upon this figure. The Financial Aid Committee will determine the amount given to each qualified applicant. Each applicant will be notified in writing of the decision regarding his/her specific request. All financial aid awards are re-evaluated annually.
