The resource hub for your family's back-to-school needs.

The 2025-2026 school year is just around the corner, and we have created a special resource hub for our CHS community to ensure the most up-to-date information, back-to-school specific announcements, and more can be easily accessed in one central location on our website. As your Lion Pride family prepares to begin the school year, we hope that this tool will serve as a great guide to ensure a smooth start to another amazing year at CHS! Please refer to this page often, as updates will be made frequently and as they become available. For questions specific to your student's division, please feel free to contact the division head.

Welcome back, Lions! We cannot wait to see you back on campus!

Summer Reading Requirements

Access your student's summer reading requirements from the divisional drop-down menu below.

Please remember that the books on these lists are required for each student, and students will be graded according to his/her completion of the reading plan. Requirements should be followed for the grade the student will be entering in August. Assignments and activities at the beginning of the school year will be based on summer reading.

Summer Learning Recommendations

Practicing reading, math, and Bible for only a short time each week can greatly increase your child’s ability to retain what they have learned this school year. To help your child maintain his or her learning over the summer, CHS teachers have provided a guide to follow, which may be accessed below.

School Supply Lists

Access your student's school supply list by selecting their grade from the divisional drop-down menu below.

Uniform Consignment Sale

Join us for our annual Uniform Consignment Sale on Thursday, July 17, from 4:00-7:00 p.m., in the South Campus (Lower and Middle School Campus) Gymnasium. During this time, families may shop gently-used uniforms AND CHS spirit wear from The Roar Store at a discounted rate. You will not want to miss it!

For the safety of our campus and students, uniforms and spirit wear should NOT be donated outside of our CHS community (do not take your items to Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.). As you find uniforms and spirit wear that your student has outgrown or you no longer need, we invite you to consider the following options:

  1. Pass your items to another CHS family.

  2. Donate your items back to CHS to be included in the consignment event. Families who donate uniforms receive 20% off the total of their own consignment purchases. Donations are accepted at the Administrative Complex on North Campus during summer office hours (Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. | closed the week of the Fourth of July).

FlynnO'Hara Uniforms

We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with FlynnO'Hara Uniforms, a leading national school uniform retailer serving 1500+ schools online and through 34 retail stores nationwide.

When searching for a new uniform supplier, the needs of our families were paramount. We are confident your overall shopping experience will be significantly improved by way of an easy-to-navigate website, quick turnaround delivery times, affordability, clothing quality, an in-person storefront in Sandy Springs, GA, and more.

Please remember to order early, as all uniform companies produce the majority of orders between June 1 and August 1. You should expect shipping delays if you wait and place your order in August.

DENNIS Uniforms (former uniform provider) are still allowed to be worn. Moving forward, all new uniform items should be ordered through FlynnO’Hara.

Please contact Lindsey Goss, Uniform Coordinator, via email at uniforms@chslions.com with any questions.

New Student Orientation

New families, access more information regarding division-specific New Student Orientation events below.

Meet Your Teacher Experiences + Other Important Information

Join us Monday, August 11, for our “Meet Your Teacher Experiences”, where you will have the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher(s), explore your child’s classroom(s), ask questions, fellowship with families, and begin the school year as aware and informed as possible. Returning students in grades 1-12 are welcome at their respective campuses beginning at 6:00 p.m. The evening will conclude at 7:00 p.m. Please note that NEW students in grades 1-8 will be receiving the same information and experience at Monday morning's "New Student Orientation", so attendance on Monday evening is not necessary. All new students in grades 9-12 are invited to join us Monday evening for their orientation experience.

As always, we invite you to connect with your child’s division director should you have any additional questions.

The Roar Store Update

The Roar Store will be open Monday, August 11, during New Student Orientation and Meet Your Teacher Experiences for both new and returning families to enjoy. The sale will take place in the North Campus (High School Campus) Commons. You will not want to miss out on a brand new selection of #lionpride spirit wear! The shop will be open that day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Following the store opening for the season on August 11, The Roar Store will be open in the Administrative Complex on North Campus during school hours and at varsity home football games in The Lions' Den.
