Eric has served as the technology and innovation coordinator and as a coach since 2017. He is the head middle school boys varsity basketball coach and head track and field coach for the high school team. Eric holds a B.A. in Art and Design from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master's degree in Coaching from Georgia Southern University. A highly decorated athlete, he won back-to-back NCAA national basketball championships in 1996 and 1997, placed fifth in the 1996 Olympic Trials in the high jump in Atlanta, placed fourth in the U.S. Indoor Nationals, and was named to the top 50 athletes in ACC history for both indoor and outdoor track and field. Previously, he served as a head varsity boys basketball coach at North Murray High School and led the team to its first appearance in the state tournament. He also served as the middle school basketball coach at Gladden and Chatsworth Middle Schools. Eric and his wife, Carrie, have three children, Wyatt (’26), Lyric, and Miles, and they reside in Chatsworth.
