Christian Life Retreat 2024
ACTIVE FAITH THAT ENDURES
"...so that He will come to have first place in everything."
Colossians 1:18
The Christian Life Retreat is an annual opportunity for CHS to expand upon our four pillars. It is a chance for our students and faculty to change pace, change place, and allows us to change our perspective. There will be opportunities for growth in each of our four pillars as well as opportunities to build upon lifelong relationships. Students will go through a series of team-building activities, chapels, small groups, a variety of outdoor activities, class competitions, and more. Our hope and prayer for this time together is for us to strengthen our culture while enhancing our personal gains.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
A Message from the Nurse's Office
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2024
As we are approaching the Christian Life Retreat, I wanted to share some specifics on how medication will be collected and administered during the Christian Life Retreat. For those of you who have students who will need to take prescription medications while away, we will need a medication authorization form filled out in advance.
For middle school students, all completed authorization forms and all medications need to be turned in to the school nurse no later than Friday, September 20, 2024.
For high school students, all completed authorization forms and all medications need to be turned in to the school nurse no later than Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
Medications must be in the original container and labeled with your student's name, name of medication, direction for medication administration, and date of prescription. Please have medication bottles inside a sealable plastic bag that is clearly labeled with your student's name. Students are not allowed to have any medications (prescription or non) in their cabin while at camp, with exception of those that self carry their EpiPen or Auvi-Q and inhalers. For those that do not self carry their emergency medications, the prescribed medications that were brought for your student to school will be with the nurse or an assigned teacher at all times during the Christian Life Retreat. We will also have available over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Tums, and Benadryl.
Please connect with Jessica Bates, School Nurse, if you have any questions or concerns via email at jbates@chslions.com.

COST - MIDDLE SCHOOL
CHS is proud to cover the majority of the cost of the trip. We are asking that each middle school family pays $65 per student to cover the cost of food, lodging, transportation, activities, and a T-shirt.
Methods of payment include:
- please include the student's name in the form completion
The cost of the trip will not be an obstacle to prevent a student who is unable to pay from attending. If your family is able and feels led, please consider paying extra to help us provide this incredible opportunity for all of our students.
