Overview, Mission, & Pillars

Who We Are

In 1985, a group of community leaders representing local churches envisioned a Christ-centered learning environment for students in Northwest Georgia. One year later, Christian Heritage School, a coeducational, college-preparatory, independent, Christian school was born. We offer a Christ-centered worldview while providing Academics that Challenge, Athletics that Build, Arts that Inspire, and Active Faith that Endures.

With 616 students in grades kindergarten through 12 and a 5:1 student-teacher ratio, the strong bonds between our faculty and students inspire growth. We believe in problem and project-based learning, as well as discussion-based engagement that promotes critical thinking and produces articulate students. At CHS, the results of our hard work and dedication to our students are not measured in mere statistics or numbers, but in the prepared hearts and minds of our graduates. Our goal is not to build perfect children, but wise, thoughtful adults ready to take on the challenges of our next generation, ready to lead, to fight for what is good, to love rightly, and to serve selflessly.
