OUR VISION of a Triple "A" School, that provides an experience that lasts a lifetime in Academics, Athletics, and the Arts, is what gets us up every morning!

OUR VALUES shape the very life of our learning community! Four are vital!

- A Partnership in Christ of Church, Home and School working together, instead of at cross-purposes is our answer to a world that is falling apart. All the research reveals the diminishing effectiveness of the church and families in terms of growing a Godly generation, when we work in isolation. Our goal is to multiply the impact of the church, home, and school through our strategic partnership - a church without walls 24/7.

- A Biblical Worldview answers the deepest questions in the heart of a young person: Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going? What does it all mean? How do I tell right from wrong? What happens when I die? However, it is illegal to answer anyone of these questions of identity, origins, purpose, meaning, morality, or destiny truthfully in any public school in America. CHS seeks to integrate a Biblical Worldview into all we do.

- A Community of Grace provides the life changing context for learning at CHS. An ancient Israeli proverb states: “A righteous man falls seven times, but rises again; a wicked man falls, but does not get up.” Note that both the righteous and the wicked fall. The difference is that the righteous get back up. A community of grace seeks to provide a safe place for our children to mess up so they can find the grace to get back up. So many schools subscribe to the Jack-in-the-box theory of education. The thought is: If we can keep the lid on, then Jack will be OK. But, then, a different story unfolds, when the lid comes off in college and Jack gets out of the box. CHS creates a safe place for our children to fail (success is merely failure turned inside out), while they are still at home and surrounded by Godly influences.

- The term, Kingdom priorities, is simply another way of expressing the idea of putting feet to our faith or doing what is important to God. Kingdom priorities over a lifetime can result in five vital benefits in becoming: 1. a better Person; 2. a better Partner; 3. a better Parent; 4. a better Provider; and 5. a better Proclaimer.

The first four priorities, who we are and what we do, give what we say its credibility!

OUR VIRTUES speak of God’s gifts to us as a school community and the resourcefulness of our parents and grandparents that have benefited and blessed our students and their families.

- Sustainability: CHS consists of 60,000 square feet of educational space situated on a forty acre campus with a 15 acre athletic complex. All of this has been built debt free! We are here for the long haul. You can be assured that CHS will be here for your child and his or her future!

- Affordability: Instead of borrowing to build, CHS has paid cash and simultaneously built a two million dollar Endowment. When you add these resources to a history of generosity among our school families, you discover multiple scholarship opportunities for our students. So even a personal financial crisis need not deprive your child of a Christian Education!

- Availability: Small is beautiful, when it comes to education. We choose to be large enough to be significant and, yet, small enough to be effective. Teachers and coaches mentor our students, so they become stars instead of a statistic. This has resulted in literally tens of thousands of dollars in merit scholarships for our students for the colleges and universities of their choice.
