Billing / Tuition FAQ

How is tuition billed?
Tuitions can be paid annually, semi-annually, or in payments of 10 or 12 months. The annual payment is due July 1st and the semi-annual payments are due July 1st and January 1st. The monthly payment option will be drafted from the families account on the 5th or 20th of each month.

How are fees billed?
For new families the $300 curriculum fee is due at time of acceptance. For current families a deposit of $75 is due by the reenrollment deadline and the remaining $225 is due by July 1st.

Does CHS accept credit card payments?
At this time, CHS accepts checks or cash only.

Where can I pay my School bill?
Annual and semi-annual payments can be sent to Christian Heritage School at 1600 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Dalton, GA. 30721. You can also deliver checks to either the front office or the high school office. There are drop boxes in both offices. Monthly payments will be drafted from the family’s bank account.

Are auxiliary services charged to my account?
NILD charges will appear on the tuition statement. Lunches will be billed through the lunchroom staff and put in the red folder. After-school care is billed through the after-school staff. Field trip fees are billed through the teacher in charge of each individual field trip.

Is financial aid available?
It is the policy of Christian Heritage School to award available financial aid funds to those families who could not otherwise afford to attend CHS. To assure that all who are requesting financial aid are evaluated objectively, each family is required to complete a financial aid application with submission of annualized financial information.

Should my family qualify for financial aid, do we need to reapply each school year?
Yes. Financial aid must be reapplied for each year. The scholarship process opens in February for the next school year. Even if your family is currently receiving financial aid, it is the family's responsibility to reapply for financial aid each year at National Association of Independent Schools

Can I apply for an athletic or academic scholarship for my child?
No. Scholarship funds are offered based on financial need for full time students only. No academic or athletic scholarships are available.
