2008-2009 FINANCIAL INFORMATION The costs for enrolling a student at Christian Heritage School includes tuition, uniform purchases, and various fees as listed below:
FEE SCHEDULE1. Application Fee $50.00 (per each new student) A one-time non-refundable application fee is required at the time an application form is submitted in order to begin the process of admission. 2. Admission Testing Fee $25.00 (per all K-5 and 6 th-12 th grade students and other students with insufficient testing records). 3. Enrollment Fee $240.00 (per each ½ day Kindergarten student) $300.00 (per each K st-12 th grade student) The enrollment fee covers the cost of textbooks, consumable materials, activities (i.e. art, music, P.E., computer), ACSI dues, and student insurance.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Tuition is due by the 1 st of each month, July through April, and may be paid in one of the following ways:
1. ONE payment: Payable on or before July 1 st of the school year. 2. TWO payments: Payable on or before July 1 st and January 1 st of the school year. 3. MONTHLY payments: Made through FACTS by automatic bank drafts in 10 or 12 month payments. An annual fee of $38 per family will be charged from FACTS Tuition Management.
Tuition Rates: (Begin calculation with student at the highest grade level) Lower Grades = Full Day K-5 th Upper Grades = 6 th-12 th
TUITION INFORMATION
DISCOUNTSPastors, missionaries, and others employed in ministry will receive a 25% discount on tuition. Ministry information must be provided on Financial Agreement form.
UNIFORMSRequired uniform items must be purchased from a CHS designated uniform company. Yearly costs vary according to family needs.
EXTRA EXPENSESThe following miscellaneous expenses are not included in previous schedules: 1. Class field trips 2. 6 th grade yearly overnight trip to Camp Highland 3. 8 th grade and 12 th grade class trips 4. Some sports & extra expenses
GENERAL FUNDTuition and fee payments do not cover the cost of educating a student at Christian Heritage. Additional needed funds are generated from gifts designated for the General Fund from parents, grandparents, alumni, special friends, businesses, foundations and churches. General Fund goals are published at the beginning of each school year, and the CHS Board is dedicated to the goal of operating with a balanced budget. All gifts to CHS are tax deductible under IRS Code section 501©(3)
CHS admits students regardless of race, color, socioeconomic factors, national or ethnic origin. CHS reserves the right to refuse admittance to any family it believes may cause disruption to the community spirit that exists among the families currently involved in the school. |
