Dear Friends,

One of the most extraordinary graduating classes in our history matriculated on May 23^rd, 2008! Eight of the graduates were in Kindergarten at CHS thirteen years ago, when I joined the CHS leadership team. Having had a front row seat watching them grow up and mature, I have often caught a glimpse of Christ through the window of their lives. The class of 2008 consisted of a ballerina, an artist, a computer genius, an ice hockey champion, a master of U.S. history, a Division I recruit in Girl’s Volleyball, a Wilberforce Scholar – the list goes on. Our Valedictorian was recruited and given a scholarship to go to McGill University in Canada. A graduate from Brazil and a graduate from Serbia have enhanced the global reach of this class.

The positive results and family benefits of sending children to an excellent school in our own community are amazing. Educators and business leaders, who have long understood this, have spent two decades and millions of dollars to give our community the very best – and they have done it! Christian Heritage’s unique educational paradigm built on a Partnership in Christ, Church, Home, and School working together, creates a life changing learning environment. The opportunity to grow up in such an atmosphere and to develop life long friendships in the community in which one lives is priceless.

As I sat on the Green Terraces watching our Middle School Football Jamboree this fall, I loved the fellowship it gave our families. The Green Terraces are a family friendly venue – you don’t have worry about your children falling off high bleachers. Instead, you can watch them play with their friends on the practice field. Our games are like a gigantic family picnic – old and young, teenagers and children, all sharing life together!  

CHS is the best kept secret in North Georgia, but the secret is getting out. More and more people are discovering the treasure in their backyard and their children are benefiting.
